Our children’s activities are drop-in groups for both parents and their children.

Most groups are age specific and it is an opportunity for parents and carers to come together to play with their children and learn new ways to support their development.

Play and Learn Cruiser

Our 0-Cruiser groups are for those babies who are not yet walking and follow a nationally recognised programme called ‘Five to Thrive’ which provides ideas to support baby brain development.

Play and Learn Toddler +

Toddler + sessions for mobile toddlers gives your child the opportunity to stretch their imagination with activities to develop the skills they will need as they leave the toddler age and become a pre-schooler.

We understand that parents and carers have children across these age groups but they are still welcome to attend any Toddler + session.

You no longer need to book our Play and Learn sessions via Eventbrite, you can just turn up to the session. Please be aware when room capacity is reached, we will have to stop entry due to health and safety.

Parents/Carers are required to stay on site for the duration of the group they have the responsibility for supervising their children at all times.  A donation is greatly appreciated for this service, which goes towards n our messy play activity materials and other resources.

School Readiness

Is your child starting school in September?

We are offering a 4-week workshop to help you to prepare your child for school. We will be looking at the skills children are expected to have before they start school. There will be activities provided to support your child in their journey to school. Each week will focus on a different topic, so parents are advised to attend all 4 sessions.

Children are welcome to attend the sessions and there will be toys and activities to keep them occupied. Parents can attend alone if children are at nursery or pre-school.

This is a bookable service, and booking is through our Eventbrite page which also includes dates and locations.
