Perinatal Services

Our perinatal service focuses on services for parents from about the 12th week of pregnancy up to 6 months after childbirth (or longer if needed).  Our dedicated Perinatal Practitioners offer support in the following ways:

New birth calls are often a good way for you to find our about our services and the support we can offer you and your child. . We are notified by the NHS once your baby has arrived and a member of our team will make contact with you either by phone call or text to give you all the information you need about our services.  You can always request a information, just contact us via email or give us a call.

We run weekly drop-in sessions for parents/carers and their children under the age of one.  Some people feel it is too soon to start attending groups with such a small baby but the benefits are endless!  Your baby’s’ brain will be developing at a rapid rate during its first year of life and our staff can help you with tips and ideas on how to support your baby’s development.  We follow a nationally recognised programme called ‘Five to Thrive’ which provides great ideas to support baby brain development.  Also, these sessions provide a time for you to meet other new parents with similar aged children. Make sure you have a look under Children’s Activities, there you will find a copy of our timetable.
